Since March 2010 HHV has provided the Leeds, Massachusetts VA Medical Center with Craft Care Specialist (CCS) Marcie Consic-O’Connor.
O’Connor’s arts & crafts experience includes hand over hand painting, coloring, collages, holiday theme crafts and sensory boxes for feel and smell therapy as well as wildlife and nature photography.
“The veterans love the HHV craft kits and are very happy with the equality of the kits,” said O’Connor. “They like to have something positive to do with their time, and many have developed pen-pal relationships with HHV donors,” O’Connor added.
O’Connor’s personal interests include spending time with family and photography.
